see also: every field will become [computational X], b/c it's tractable - see also Seeing Like a State etc etc. Lots of career futures cross-applying SV techniques to other industries, even if SV employment reduces over time (analagous to manufacturing/automation). I would guess a decade or more of dissemination - so if SV gets to "AGI" by 2030, and only has highly technical PMs / no SWE type role exists, could still do quite a lot until 2040 in other fields.
